Top 10 Highest individual scores for India in T20Is
7. Virat Kohli v Sri Lanka, 2014 – 77:
Having scored an emphatic 72* against the South Africans in the semis, Kohli continued his good touch in the finals of the ICC World T20 in 2014 against Sri Lanka. Rahane was dismissed in the 2nd over of the match, and Kohli had to step in early this time. He played with absolute maturity to score 77 off 58 balls, hitting four maximums. However, sadly for India, he was the only batsman who got among the runs and India could post just 130 on the board in the finals. Sri Lanka chased down the score inside 18 overs and Kohli’s efforts went in vain.
