6. Younis Khan (Pakistan) – 313:
The Pakistani middle order batsman made full use of the flat Karachi track, as he smashed a carrier best 313 against Sri Lanka. He towered 4 sixes and 27 boundaries to put a fitting reply to Sri Lanka’s 644, as Pakistan notched up 765 runs with the loss of only 6 wickets.
The 760 minutes long maverick innings helped Pakistan to a draw in the first Test against Sri Lanka. It was Younis Khan’s 1st Test match as a captain and he celebrated the occasion with a stylish triple century.
