Sanath Jayasuriya (Sri Lanka)- 323 wickets: Sanath Jayasuriya. His slow left-arm spin helped him scalp 323 wickets at an average of 36.75, along with an economy of 4.78. Sanath has been phenomenal on many occasions. He has picked a fifer nine times while his best bowling figures came against South Africa at the MCG. 7. Glenn McGrath (Australia) – 381 wickets: Glenn McGrath. His nagging line along with a sharp cricketing mind made him one of the most lethal bowler in world cricket. 6. Shaun Pollock (South Africa) – 393 wickets: Shaun Pollock. Shaun Pollock picked up 393 ODI wickets from 303 games at an average of 24.50. His charisma is not only confined to bowling, Pollock notched up 3519 runs with the bat, at a healthy strike rate of 86.69. 5. Shahid Afridi (Pakistan) – 395 wickets: Shahid Afridi. He can be a threat with the bat while his turners can turn tables at ease. Afridi has 395 wickets from 398 ODI matches at an average of 34.51. Representing Pakistan, Afridi has picked up nine fifers. A career that lasted over a decade, Younis played 262 ODIs for Pakistan. He is the second highest wicket taker for Pakistan in ODIs after Wasim Akram, as he picked up 416 wickets at an average of 23.84. He has 13 fifers to his credit, along with 14 four-wicket hauls. 2.
