Azharuddin (47) and Captain Kapil Dev (30). Imran took 6/14 to demolish the Indian innings. Kapil Dev then turned the match on its head by taking the wickets of Rameez Raja early and spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan accounting for Imran Khan. Pakistan lost their way to end up 87 all out and losing the match by 38 runs. Imran Khan got the Man of the match for his 6/14, the best figures by a bowler in a lost match.

But change in the evening temperature and moisture made the life hell for batsmen on the pitch and the ball started swinging in every way.India&#8217;s new ball bowlers Mohit Sharma and  Stuart Binny took advantage of this situation and literally destroyed the Bangladeshi batting line up. Mohit Sharma took 4/22 and Stuart Binny took 6/4, which is an Indian record for best bowling figures in ODIs. He beat Anil Kumble&#8217;s 6/12. Bangladesh managed to make just 58 runs with another debutant Mohd. Mithun making 26 runs.

India went to Bangladesh to play in a 3 match series. India won the first match comfortably, but Bangladesh’s debutant Taskin Ahmed took 5/28 to dismiss India for just 105 runs.Captain Suresh Raina scored 27 runs and set Bangladesh 106 to win in 50 overs. 
But change in the evening temperature and moisture made the life hell for batsmen on the pitch and the ball started swinging in every way.India’s new ball bowlers Mohit Sharma and&nbsp; Stuart Binny took advantage of this situation and literally destroyed the Bangladeshi batting line up. 
Mohit Sharma took 4/22 and Stuart Binny took 6/4, which is an Indian record for best bowling figures in ODIs. He beat Anil Kumble’s 6/12. Bangladesh managed to make just 58 runs with another debutant Mohd. Mithun making 26 runs.

Pakistan made 147 thanks to Aamir Sohail (48) and Wasim Akram (33) on a cold Auckland morning. Pakistan used the conditions via Wasim Akram (4/34) and dismissed New Zealand for 110 to win the match by 37 runs.

But the South African bowlers returned the favors in kind, bowling them out for 136 runs. Hansie Cronje (3/27) and Meyrick Pringle (3/27) did the damage.

India held the previous world record for the lowest total defended in ODIs. Pakistan put India in on a typical Sharjah pitch and India could muster just 125 runs with contribution from Mohd. Azharuddin (47) and Captain Kapil Dev (30). Imran took 6/14 to demolish the Indian innings. 
Kapil Dev then turned the match on its head by taking the wickets of Rameez Raja early and spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan accounting for Imran Khan. Pakistan lost their way to end up 87 all out and losing the match by 38 runs. Imran Khan got the Man of the match for his 6/14, the best figures by a bowler in a lost match.
