Zimbabwe caused the biggest upset of the 1992 World cup when they defeated England by 9 runs. Zimbabwe batted first and put on a meager 134 on the board. Ian Botham and Richard Illingworth both took 3 wickets. Eddo Brandes then took 4/21 along with Ali Omarshah (2/17) to collapse England to 125 runs and win the match.
