In a T20 international match between South Africa and Afghanistan at Wankhede in 2016 World T20, 17-year-old Rashid Khan was given the ball for Afghanistan and he was smashed badly. AB de Villiers single-handedly smashed 29 runs in the over. The sequence reads 6,4,6,6,6,1. He went on to score 64 runs in 29 balls in the game.

<p>In a T20 international match between West Indies and Bangladesh at Dhaka in December, 2012, 29 runs were taken by Simmons and Samuels. Of course, Samuels played the major role and scored 28 runs in that over bowled by Rubel Hossain. Simmons took a single in the first ball and the remaining five deliveries went as – 6, 6, 6, 4, 6. Samuels remained unbeaten on 85 runs and West Indies won the match by 18 runs.</p>
<h4><strong>7. Jehan Mubarak- 29 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>Well, in the group stage match of ICC World T20, 2007 between Sri Lanka and Kenya, Sri Lanka posed a record breaking total of 260 runs in 20 overs which still stands to be the highest T20I total. Jehan Mubarak smacked 29 runs of Lameck Onyango. He struck 6, 6, 6, 4, 6, 1 respectively and Sri Lanka won the match by a margin of 172 runs.</p>

<p>It was a group stage match of the ICC World T20, 2014. Chasing down a target of 192 runs, Australia tried to step up the ante and Finch struck 6, 1 in the over bowled by Bilawal Bhatti. This was followed by a massacre which comprised 4, 6, 6nb, 5, 4 by Glenn Maxwell to seal 30 runs in the over. Finch scored 65 runs in the match while Maxwell struck 74 off 33 but unfortunately Australia lost the match by 16 runs.</p>

<p>In the early days of T20 cricket, Ricky Ponting struck 30 runs in a single over against Daryl Tuffey. Ponting scored 6, 2, 6, 6, 4, 6 in the over respectively. In the innings, the Aussie skipper struck a total of 98 runs off 55 deliveries with 8 fours and five sixes. Australia posed a threatening target of 214/5 after 20 overs and won the match comprehensively by a margin of 44 runs.</p>

<p>The Caribbean opener Evin Lewis has smashed the Indian all-rounder Stuart Binny all-round the park as the West Indian went on to add 32 runs to the scorecard in that over. The game between India and West Indies was India&#8217;s first ever match in the United States. After winning the toss and electing to field, Indian strike bowlers completely lost the plot and went on to give many runs. There comes Stuart Binny in the 11th over, where he gave away 6,6,wd,6,6,6,1, a total of 32 runs in an over. Evin Lewis went on to register his maiden century with 5 fours &amp; 9 sixes.</p>
<h4><strong>3. Jos Buttler, JM Bairstow, Luke Wright- 32 Runs:</strong></h4>

<p>For yet another time, 32 runs were scored in a single over in a T20 international match. This time the runs were scored against Afghanistan in the Group stage match of the ICC World T20, 2012. Jos Buttler scored 4 on a delivery after which he was dismissed. Then Bairstow scored 6nb, 1nb and Luke Wright was on the strike. He scored 6, 6, 6, 1 to finish things off with 32 runs in the over.</p>

<p>The middle order English batsman hammered Wayne Parnell for as many as 32 runs in the match between England and South Africa at Edgbaston in 2012. The figures of the over were like – 6, 6, 2nb, 1nb, 4, 4, 6, 2. Buttler remained unbeaten on 32 runs off 10 deliveries and England, batting first posed a total of 118 runs in 11 overs and went onto win the rain intervened match by 18 runs.</p>

<p>Every Indian fan would have ever-fresh images of that particular over from Stuart Broad. After getting involved in a mouthful banter with Flintoff in the Group stage match of the ICC World T20 between India and England, Yuvraj was raging and Stuart Broad came into bowl the very next over. Out of anger, Yuvraj smacked all the balls of Broad out of the park and did set a marvellous record in international T20. Yuvraj completed his half century in 12 deliveries and scored 58 runs off 16 deliveries which included 3 sixes and 7 fours.</p>
