In the World Cup 2015 match up between South Africa and the West Indies at the Sydney Cricket Ground AB de Villiers was unstoppable, once the Protea SuperMan got going no Windies bowler had a ball to stop him. Herschelle Gibbs something only 2 people had done in any kind of cricket before him and no one had done it in international cricket of any form. In the 29th over of South African innings, leg spinner Dan van Bunge of the Netherlands went for 6 consecutive sixes at the hands of Herschelle Gibbs.

Gibbs became the first batsman to hit 6 sixes in an over in ODI or international cricket. Only other batsman to do so in domestic cricket are Gary Sobers and Ravi Shastri**.

** Yuvraj Singh of India hit Stuart Board of England for 6 sixes in one over in the inaugural World T20 championship held in South Africa in 2007.  No one has hit 6 sixes in an over in Test cricket till now.

Herschelle Gibbs something only 2 people had done in any kind of cricket before him and no one had done it in international cricket of any form. In the 29th over of South African innings, leg spinner Dan van Bunge of the Netherlands went for 6 consecutive sixes at the hands of Herschelle Gibbs.
Gibbs became the first batsman to hit 6 sixes in an over in ODI or international cricket. Only other batsman to do so in domestic cricket are Gary Sobers and Ravi Shastri**.

Dimitri Mascarenhas hit Yuvraj Singh for 5 sixes in the 50th over of the English innings. England wanted to end on a high note and Mascarenhas did the exact thing when he smoked Yuvraj to the leg side mid-wicket boundary 5 times.

South Africa wanted to completely demolish the Netherlands and after the Dutch bowlers had survived the early onslaught by Herschelle Gibbs, they ran into Mark Boucher and Jacques Kallis who together hit LP van Troost for 30 runs in one over that included a wide.

Kane Williamson and James Franklin in particular demolished Rizwan Cheema and HS Baidwan, taking 31 runs off their combined one over. Franklin hit 3 sixes and a four off a no ball to take 30 runs of that over  after Kane Williamson gave him the strike on the first ball. The over was completed by HS Baidwan after Rizwan Cheema was barred from bowling the rest of the over because he bowled two beamers in a row after bowling the first ball.

Shahid Afridi hit leg spinner Malinda Bandara for 32 runs in an over when Pakistan were chasing 236 runs to win and were 137/5 at one time. But Afridi hit 73 runs off 34 balls to take Pakistan to victory. Poor Bandara didn’t have any idea where to ball because Afridi ket swinging it away either straight or on the leg side.

In the World Cup 2015 match up between South Africa and the West Indies at the Sydney Cricket Ground AB de Villiers was unstoppable, once the Protea SuperMan got going no Windies bowler had a ball to stop him. The WI skipper Jason Holder who until then had descent numbers was brutally murdered by de Villiers. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in the over which Holder also bowled 2 no balls. After the end of 6 legitimate deliveries AB and SA had another 34 runs added to their totals.
