He played his last T2oI against Afghanistan in 2013 at the age of 39 years and 215 days. It was a memorable one for him as he scored his first and the only half-century of his T20 career that match.

<p>John Davison made his debut at the age of 39y 277d against Kenya in 2010. It wasn’t a great one for him as he got out for duck and his team eventually lost the match. The middle order batsman went on to play only 5 T20Is. There were no memorable batting performances in his career with his highest score being just 19. Davison was also mediocre as he could only take 4 wickets with his best performance being 2/19 which came against Kenya.</p>

<p>Munir Dar is an all-rounder from Hong Kong. He had a very short international career which consisted of just two T20Is and 2 ODIs. He played his last T20I debut at the age of 40 years and 16 days against Bangladesh on March 20, 2014 at Chittagong. Coming in at number seven, the Indian origin cricketer scored a quick 27 ball 36 before getting run out.</p>

<p>Sunil Dhaniram is another cricketer of Indian descent. He was born in Guyana but played international cricket for Canada. He had a quite lengthy career for a player from associate nation with 44 ODIs and 11 T20Is. He played his last T20I aged 41 years 116 days versus Kenya in 2010 at the Dubai Spots City Ground.</p>

<p>There have been many cricketers who have such ferocious approach towards batting. Jayasuriya was already 41 years and 360 days old when he played his last T20I after debuting in this format in the year 2006. Jayasuriya could feature in only 31 T20Is and scored 629 runs at a strike rate of 129.15.</p>

<p>Steve Tikolo is the most significant character Kenya’s cricket history. The former Kenyan skipper, who led his team to semi finals of the 2003 World Cup, was an aggressive middle order batsman. He played his last T20I at the age of 42 years and 154 days against Canada at Sharjah in 2013. Tikolo finished his T20 career with 345 runs from 15 games at a strike rate of 122.77.</p>

<p>Najeeb Omar is a Pakistani origin cricketer who played for Hong Kong. The former skipper of the Hong Kong side played only one T20Is which was against Nepal at Chittagong in 2014 at the age of 42 years and 172 days. He took 1/29 in that match and did not feature in games for team in future.</p>
<h4><strong>3. Khurram Khan – 42y 273d (UAE):</strong></h4>

<p>Khurram Khan plays for the UAE and the Sagittarius Strikers in the Masters Champions league. He played only three T20Is  after making his debut against Netherland in 2014. He last played for his team against Zimbabwe at Sylhet in the same year. He was 42 years and 273 days old at that time.</p>

<p>Brad Hogg is the most seasoned cricketer and the perhaps the best in the list. Hogg has defied age and has outclassed young cricketer almost half of his age with his performances in various T20 Leagues. However, his international career was very short and played only 15 T20Is, taking only 7 wickets. Hogg last played for Australia in 2014 against Pakistan aged 43 years and 45 days.</p>

<p>Mohammad Tauqir is the oldest cricketer to play T20s. Tauqir was 43 years 176 days when he made his debut against Scotland at Edinburg in 2015 during the Icc World T20 qualifier. Taukir, an off spinner by trade, has so far played only  3 T20Is, all of which came during the same tournament. His last outing came against Netherlands just three days after his debut.</p>
