Warwick Windridge Armstrong was an Australian all-rounder who played 50 test matches for his country. He scored 2,863 runs at an average of 38.68, including six centuries, and took 87 wickets. He was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame in 2000. His captaincy record is quite impressive as he was undefeated, winning 8 tests and drawing 2. He captained the Australian side which won the Ashes series 5-0. Armstrong scored a ton aged 41 years 265 days.
