<p>Arthur William &#8220;Dave&#8221; Nourse was a left- handed South African batsman. He has played 45 tests scoring 2234 runs with a decent average of 29.78. He also took 41 wickets during his test career. It’s interesting that his 111 against Australia at 42 years and 291 days was his only ton and it made its entry into the record books.</p>

<p>Warren &#8220;Curly&#8221; Bardsley was an Australian test cricketer. Bardsley became the first Test cricketer to score a century – 100 runs or more – in both innings of a single Test match. First World War ruined his career to some extent as it robbed 5 years of his playing career. His undefeated innings of 193 at Lord&#8217;s in the Second Test would be his highest Test score, and made him the oldest player to score a Test century for Australia. He was Wisden&#8217;s Cricketer of the Year in 1910.</p>

<p>Elias Henry Hendren, known as Patsy Hendren was an English cricketer. He was one of the most phenomenal English batsmen of his period. He has scored 3525 runs in 51 tests averaging 47.63. He has the third highest First Class aggregate with 57,611 runs and his total of 170 centuries ranks second only to Hobbs. Hendren scored his last test ton at 45 years and 151 days.</p>

<p>Sir John Berry &#8220;Jack&#8221; Hobbs was an English cricketer known as “The Maser”. He is the leading run-scorer and century-maker in First Class cricket, with 61,760 runs and 199 centuries. He has scored 5410 runs in 61 tests with an impeccable average of 56.94. EW Swanton described him in 1963 as &#8220;a supreme master of his craft and the undisputed head of his profession&#8221;. Berry is the oldest cricketer to score a test ton, he was 46 years and 82 days when he hit his last hundred.</p>
