Gordon Greenidge was the opening batsman of West Indies from 1974 to 1991. In his career, he played 128 ODI matches and 108 Tests. He had scored 5134 runs in ODIs at an average of 45.03 with 11 hundreds and 31 fifties. He had once made a century at the age of 37 years and 321 days. In that innings, he scored total 117 runs against India in 1989 at Antigua. He had smashed seven fours and eight sixes during that innings of 117 runs.
