The 106 run opening stand came in just 64 balls. Some late hitting by Chris Lynn was all that was needed for Australia to post 213/4 in their 20 overs.

England batting lineup was rocked by Nathan Coulter-Nile’s 4 wicket haul and could only manage to score 200/9 in their 20 overs. An unbeaten 65 off 27 by Ravi Bopara kept England interested until the very end.
