<p>It was originally constructed in the early 1980s and has been much improved over the years. <p>The WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association Ground) is situated in Perth. This ground, established in 1893, was built on old swamp land. The WACA earned a reputation for being a fast and hard track with lot of bounce. As a result of the redevelopment in 2002, the permanent capacity of the stadium is of 22,000 spectators. The first ODI on this ground was played between India and New Zealand on Dec 9, 1980. Australian great Dean Jones with 545 runs to his name is the highest run-getter on this ground. The Adelaide Oval was opened in 1873. The ground is actually oval shaped which makes straight sixes a rarity but the ones square of the wicket are more common. <p>Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium is a relatively young stadium which was established in 2006. The facilities and infrastructure of this ground are very impressive, especially it&#8217;s drainage system which is one of the best in the world. It hosted its first ODI between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh on December 8, 2006. It was built with the purpose of building a purely cricket stadium as most of the stadiums in Bangladesh host Football apart from cricket matches. Sher-e-Bangla Stadium has hosted 90 ODI matches. Bangladesh star Shakib Al Hasan with 2034 runs and 89 wickets in ODIs is the highest run-getter as well as the highest wicket-taker on this ground.</p>

<p>It was formerly known as Khettarama Stadium (until June 1994). It came into existence due to the efforts of the late Sri Lanka President Ranasinghe Premadasa. It is the biggest stadium in Sri Lanka. The stadium which was opened on February 2, 1986, was built on swampland. The inaugural one-day international was played on April 5, 1986 between Sri Lanka and New Zealand and since then it has hosted 118 ODIs until this year. The Matara Mauler Sanath Jayasuriya (2514) has the most number of the runs at this venue while Muthiah Muralitharan with 75 wickets is the highest wicket getter on this ground.</p>
