This match is yet another example of a Test playing nation dominating an Associate country. On 24th March 2014, associates Netherlands were humiliated by Sri Lanka at Chittagong after they were bowled out for a terrible score of 39 runs. The Lankans won the toss and put the low ranked counterparts into bat. But, it was a very forgettable outing for the team as their batting was completely crushed by the Lankan bowling attack. Kulasekara (1/0) was the first to strike and finished with 1/0 in his two-over spell. Later, Angelo Matthew (3/16) and Ajanta Mendis (3/12) completely bossed over the clueless Dutch batsmen. Lasith Malinga also enjoyed the wicket-taking fest by snapping up two middle order wickets. The whole batting unit only last 10.3 overs with Tom Cooper (16 from 18 balls) being the top scorer for them.
