9. Afghanistan – 80 v England (2012):
Afghanistan team yet again finds their name in the list. On 21 September 2012, Afghanistan met England during the group stage fixture. Afghanistan did the wrong by asking the Englishmen to bat first as Luke Wright (99 from 55 balls) along with his mates took full advantage of their wobbly bowling performance to post a target of 197 in front of the associates. Their reply to the mammoth total was miserable as the England bowlers took wicket turn by turn to destroy the entire Afghan batting order and bundle them up for just 80 runs in 17.2 over to win the match by a massive 116 runs. None of the batsmen in the Afghanistan team could manage to reach the double figures except Gulbadin Naib who scored 44 to save the team from humiliation to some extent.
