Top 10 Teams With Most Runs In T20 Internationals: T20 cricket is now making a name for itself as the most entertaining cricket format. The success of the IPL and other T20 leagues speaks volumes of how 20 overs cricket has managed to captivate and attract fans all over the world. The spectators love to see the runs scored off the bat, the humongous sixes and the power hitting true to the current trend in cricket which is fast turning into a batsman’s game. Zimbabwe team made their T20I debut in the year 2006. They have played 51 T20I Matches in total with 45 players. They didn’t play as many matches as they would have liked having played just 59 matches in the past decade. Bangladesh has never been short of any talent and have produced some excellent batters like Shakib, Tamim and Ashraful who have excelled in the shortest format. That is the reason why India have managed to rack up only over 9596 runs. India has always relied on their batting and world cricket has seen some incredible T20 batsmen from India like Dhoni, Yuvi and Raina. India also has the highest batting average in 20-20 internationals. 7. West Indies – 9612 runs: West Indies. Their batsmen have always been pure entertainers and they have produced some dangerous and powerful stroke makes like Christopher Henry Gayle, Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard. Despite having great teams over the years Australia surprisingly haven’t won the world cup in the shortest format. The former world champs are at the top of the chart with 14,080 runs against their name. They’ve played the most number of T20 matches so it isn’t a surprise why they are at the top of the ladder.
