South Africa emerged to be one of the predominant sides since the later half of 90s. They have been a side which has provided tough competition to every opposition and this side possess the quality of destroying the opposition in a single session. Jacques Kallis leads the chart for them with 97 sixes, followed by the ODI skipper, AB de Villiers with 54 sixes. In all South Africa has 858 sixes in tests.

6 &#8211; India – 1011:

India has seen a number of outstanding and classy batsmen in the game throughout the years. Also, there have been players who were brilliant hitters of the ball. Surprisingly, India comes sixth in the list. As expected, Virender Sehwag leads the way for India with 91 sixes. And he is followed by none other than the former Indian test skipper, MS Dhoni with 78 sixes. The team has scored 1011 sixes in test cricket history.
5 &#8211; Pakistan – 1035:

Leaving behind a few players in the Pakistani side throughout the years, there were not many hard hitters of the ball. Bowling has been the prime strength for them particularly. Misbah Ul Haq leads the chart for pak with 67 sixes. Surprisingly, he is followed by Younis khan with 60 sixes and Wasim Akram with 57 sixes. The team has hit overall 1035 six in their test journey.
4 &#8211; New Zealand – 1089:

The Kiwis have shown intense aggression in their game play. Also, there have been a number of power hitters in the team to aid their position in the list. Brendon McCullum leads the Black Caps them with 97 sixes in his career. And he is followed by none other than the ecstatic all-rounder, Chris Cairns with 87 sixes. At present, there are a number of attacking batsmen in their squad in the likes of Corey Anderson, Luke Ronchi and others which will help them continue with their aggressive instinct in the near future. New Zealand&#8217;s six counter is at 1089 sixes.
3 &#8211; England – 1429:

The England cricket team is one of the few teams which does really well in the longer format but struggle to cope up with limited over&#8217;s format. England has given some gems, and batting legends to the game of cricket. Topping the list for England is all-rounder Andrew Flintoff with 82 sixes, followed by Kevin Pietersen with 81 sixes. Next to them is the legendary batsman, Ian Botham with 67 sixes. In all England team has struck 1429 sixes.
2 &#8211; West Indies – 1447:

Having West Indies on top of this particular list is no wonder. The Caribbean men have been hard hitters of the ball and that has been one of their characteristics in the game. Chris Gayle tops the list for them with 98 sixes in his career and he is followed by none other than Brian Lara with 88 sixes. Also, the legendary, Viv Richards has immense contribution to the tally with 84 sixes. The aggressive intent of these players is likely to take them onto the top in the near future. They have 1447 sixes in test matches.

The Australian cricket team has been one of the most dominating sides even in test match cricket. The side has witnessed plenty of attacking batsmen throughout the years and it was quite obvious for them to lead the chart. Adam Gilchrist stands to be the player with most number of sixes in his Australian test career with 100 sixes. Also, Mathew Hayden has hit as many as 82 sixes in his career, followed by Ricky Ponting with 73 sixes. Australia have managed to hit 1511 sixes in its test history.
