Top 10 Teams with Most Wickets in ODI Cricket: The cricket universe has seen some of the best bowlers in world cricket in the 50 over format over the years. Their average of 39.40 is the worst in this list of top 10 teams. Zimbabwe has picked up a wicket every 48.0 balls (Strike rate which is also the worst for the top 10 teams). They have picked up a wicket every 38.5 balls which is the best strike rate among the top 10 teams. Their average of 29.17 is also the second best in this list. No surprises there since South Africa has had bowlers like Shaun Pollock, Makhaya Ntini, Allan Donald and Dale Steyn in their lineup. 7. England – 4235 wickets: England. Their economy rate of 4.40 is the best in the world. The strike rate is also a decent at 41.90. The West Indies have featured a total of 170 players in ODIs till now. 4. On December 8, 2001 Chaminda Vaas created history by picking up 8 wickets in an ODI match. His figures of 8/19 against Zimbabwe are still the best bowling figures in an innings by any bowler in the world. The Lankans also have 47, 5-wicket hauls and 94, 4-wicket hauls in ODIs over the years. This team from the island country has won one 50-overs world cup and has ended up as the runner-up twice. 3.
