<p>Starting off as a batsman, McCullum soon became a prominent wicket keeper for the Kiwis, he played as the man behind the stumps for the team from 2002-2013 in which he was a part of 125 innings scoring 4057 runs with his highest score being 131 at the strike rate of 90.37 which is one of the best in the list. <p>The English wicket keeper who played from the year 1989-2003, was a clean hitter of the ball. He played 132 innings in 138 matches he was a part of with a total of 4017 runs. His highest knock as a wicket keeper being 116 runs with a strike rate of 70.06. Along with 4 test centuries he has 26 half centuries under his name. Stewart loved playing the quick deliveries and was a bit insecure against spin.</p>

<p>Considered as one of the best wicket-keeper batsmen, Zimbabwe’s ‘Man behind the Stumps’ for 10 years, Andy Flower is also one of the best cricketers in Zimbabwe’s cricketing history. In his tenure starting from 1992-2002 he was a part of 183 innings with a total score of 5845. His best being 145 with an overall strike rate of 73.71 and an average of 34.58. His 4 centuries are accompanied by 46 amazing half centuries.</p>

Dravid played the part of a wicket keeper when India needed it the most, and was running out of options. Despite that he did not let his batting performance come down, his best score as a wicket-keeper in ODI was 145. He kept the wickets from 1999-2004, his short tenure had 64 innings with 2300 runs where he scored his 4 centuries with an average of 44.23 and a strike rate of 72.60. <p>The prominent wicket keeper batsman of Pakistan, Akmal has been a part of 135 innings in his tenure of 11 years from 2002-2013. His 3168 runs consists of 5 centuries with a strike rate of 83.83 at an average of 26.18. His highest score in ODI as a wicket keeper is 124, he has also hit 9 half centuries.</p>

In his condensed 2 years from 2013-2015, with 46 matches he scored 6 centuries and a total of 1672 runs. 3 off his 6 came back to back against India in the bilateral series at home. His best being 135, De Kock had a commendable strike rate of 87.81 and an average of 38.00, also he has scored 5 fifties.</p>

Dhoni has featured in 265 matches where he has played 231 innings and has scored 8620 runs with 9 centuries and 59 half centuries. His best score in the ODI cricket is 183* against Sri Lanka. <p>A legend in making and the ODI captain of his team AB is one of the most feared batsmen in the world today. He kept the wickets for South Africa for some good 8-years. AB has played 55 innings as a wicket keeper and scored 2963 runs with a best of 149. His amazing strike rate of 100.74 is the best in the list with an average of 70.54. Along with 10 centuries he has scored 17 fifties in ODIs as a wicket keeper.</p>

<p>The legendary wicket keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist, who retired from all forms of cricket after an exceptional cricketing career, is not only the man with big records but a true gentleman of the game. The Australian veteran played as a wicket keeper from 1996-2008 his long tenure had 274 innings with 9410 runs with the second best strike rate of 96.94 in the list. His highest score was of 172, and Gilly maintained a career average of 35.64.</p>

<p>Topping the list is another legend of the cricket world, the Sri Lankan wicket keeper and former captain, a gentleman and a retired name, Kumar Sangakkara. In the 340 innings of 360 matches, he has scored a giant total of 13,341 runs that includes 23 hundreds and 91 fifties. Sanga had a strike rate of 80.15 and an average of 43.74. His highest score as a wicket keeper is 169. He has played for a long period of 15 years, from 2000-2015 as the Man behind the stumps for the Sri Lankan side and has been the reason of many victories they have registered in limited overs cricket.</p>
