1. Hashim Amla – 126 innings:

Hashim Amla has seen the green for most part of his brief yet supremely successful career. He has been a run machine for South Africa over the years and that has also helped him pile on records. Virat Kohli who is already regarded as a modern-day great has been rewriting ODI records and Amla has been right behind him bettering him by a considerable margin. In the 3rd ODI against England at home when they were 2-0 down Amla played a superb knock of 127 during which he hit 13 fours and 2 sixes, this hundred was the 22nd of his career and he got there in just 126 innings beating Kohli by a margin of 17 innings to become the fastest batsman to 22 hundreds in ODIs.
