Chris Gayle came back into form with the first ever 200 in World cups. That score was accompanied with a World record equaling 16 sixes and 10 fours.
Gayle and Marlon Samuels also added a World record 372 runs for the second wicket and the biggest partnership in ODI history beating 331* by Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid against New Zealand in 1999-00.
