If Zaheer Abbas is regarded as the best ever Pakistani batsmen, Inzamam is undoubtedly the best ever ODI batsmen for Pakistan. Inzy burst on to the international arena with a famous knock against New Zealand in a semifinal game in 92 World Cup and there was never a looking back for him after that. He is the only Pakistani batsmen to score ten thousand plus runs in ODIs and he took 15812 balls to achieve that. 4. Ricky Ponting 17046 Balls Ricky Ponting the former Australian skipper is the third best batsman to have played most balls in ODI cricket. As a batsman, Ricky’s ability in judging the length of a short ball and rocking on to the back foot to play a pull shot at will is a sight imprinted in my memories. Sachin Tendulkar 21367 Balls No big prize for gurssing Sachin Tendulkar is the player who has played most number of balls in ODI cricket.
