Mitchell Starc proved why he is one of the most dangerous bowlers on the planet with a devastating spell on the morning of day two, in the 4<sup>th</sup> Test claiming his fourth five-wicket haul in Test cricket as Australia fought back. Starc entered the second day at Trent Bridge with three wickets and snared three more in the space of 12 balls to reduce the hosts to 7-320 in the first hour of play. Starc´s final figures surpassed the 25-year-old´s previous Test best of six for 154 against South Africa at Perth in 2012.

Anderson ripped through Australia after lunch on Day One of the third Test at Edgbaston. Anderson took a wicket every over for his first four overs after lunch, getting rid of Adam Voges, Mitchell Marsh, Peter Nevill, and Mitchell Johnson to ensure that the visitors were in deep trouble.
