Many may not remember but Siddarth Kaul originated his career from the same starting point as the likes of Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Manish Tiwary in the U19 World Cup of 2008. In contrast to the trio, Kaul has led a different career as he has largely played only domestic cricket and found it difficult to find his feet in the IPL over the years.

However, Siddharth Kaul has come into his own in this edition of the IPL. With the likes of Mustafizur Rahman, Ashish Nehra, Mohammed Siraj and Bhuvaneshvar Kumar, Kaul went on to make a reputation for himself in the death overs.

In matches he has played, Siddarth Kaul claimed 16 wickets already in the tournament with a few more to go, given that SRH still have a couple of matches in hand. His yorkers and slower ones have been difficult to dispatch for the batsmen.
