5. Charitha Buddhika Fernando (SriLanka) 5/67 vs. Zimbabwe 2001

Better known as just Charitha Buddhika, he gave away 67 runs for 5 wickets o his ODI debut in defence of 256 runs against Zimbabwe in the opening match of the 2001 Khaleej Times Trophy in Sharjah.

SriLanka batted first and scored 256 runs against Zimbabwe with Marvan Atapattu top scoring with 93 runs. In the reply, the Zimbabwe could only muster 193 runs. Buddhika conceded 67 runs but took 5 wickets on his ODI debut, while none of the other bowlers gave more than 32 runs in their spells.
