Top 5 Highest run getters in the World T20 2016

1. Tamim Iqbal – 295 Runs:

Bangladesh’s Tamim Iqbal took the responsibility of being the senior most batsman in the team brilliantly. Iqbal was available for the whole tournament and played in all games except the one against Australia where he missed out due to an illness. He finished as the highest run-getter of the tournament. In the qualifiers, he milked majority of his tournament runs, scoring 233 runs in 3 games including a half-century and career best 103* against Oman. However, runs began to dry when playing against stronger opponents and he could add only 62 runs in the following 4 matches.
