But, he has not been amongst the runs or wickets in the IPL. He played for the KKR in the initial editions and later was a top player for the PWI. Mathews is currently with the DD but is not able to make an impact. He has taken 27 wickets in 45 games with a best bowling of 4/19 with an economic rate of 8.06 which is on the higher side.
