Bangladesh – 16.3 million followers This comes as a bit of surprise but the Bangla Tigers are actually 2nd on this list. In terms of cricketing quality, Bangladesh might not be able to go toe to toe with the likes of England and Australia. But on Facebook, they have more followers than both the Ashes rivals combined which show how huge their fan base is. Bangladesh were definitely crippled by the suspension of their talisman Shakib Al Hasan but they have been working hard in recent years. When one adds up the followers on all three social media platforms, Bangladesh stands well clear of any other team on this list so far with 16.3 million followers to their name. They are currently at the second position among cricketing giants. 1. India – 54.2 million followers It comes to no one’s shock that India has the highest number of followers out of all cricketing nations. In India, cricket is considered as the 2nd religion so it is inevitable that the sport is adored by fans all over the country. As they possess some of the most famous cricketers in the world like Kohli, Rohit and Pandya, their dominance on the social media front is going to stay for years to come. Virat Kohli’s men have been playing some phenomenal cricket consistently in almost all three formats and are deservedly in the top three rankings across all formats of the game.
