He is a very underrated all-rounder, and Kolkata Knight Riders have done well to acquire his services. He was involved in some stellar performances against India lately. And during times when the bat is dominating ball, the 28-year-old is the only bowler to have upgraded both his average, by 3.70 runs to 30.55, and economy figures, cutting 0.78 runs per over off the latter. He has big shoes to fill in, after Russell’s average and he has the potential to live up to the expectations. In that process, expect him to be the holder of the Purple Cap, if all goes well.
