4. David Warner
David Warner played a crucial role in Australia winning the test series. He played with positive intent and just took the attack into the Indian bowlers. In the first test match he began with a quick fire 145 and followed it up with 102 in the second innings. In the second and third test matches he failed to capitalise on starts (Brisbane- scored 29 and 6 and in Melbourne 0 and 40). In the last test match he again scored a hundred with 101, but R Ashwin got the better of him in the second innings dismissing Warner for 4. With a total of 427 runs he becomes the fourth highest run getter in the series.
