Top 5 T10 League players who can cause bidding war in IPL 2021 Auction
These players can set the IPL auction on fire.
Recently, the 2021 edition of the T10 league was held in Abu Dhabi. The league has already had successful seasons in the past and this season did not disappoint either. A total of 29 matches were played in the league with various players showcasing their talent.
The league started on 28 January 2021 and concluded on the 6th of February. The final was played between the inaugural champions Northern Warriors and the first time finalists Delhi Bulls.
It was the Northern Warriors, who at the back of their solid performances, won their second title. T10 itself is derived from the twenty-twenty cricket, as the nature of both the formats is pretty similar.
Thus, here we look at 5 players from the T10 league who can cause bidding wars in the IPL auction:
1) Evin Lewis
The left-handed Caribbean is well-known for his aggressive hitting prowess. He played for the finalists Delhi Bulls in the T10 this year and had a pretty good season, enough to grab the attention of the IPL franchises.
Opening for the Bulls, Lewis scored 216 runs in 8 matches at an astonishing average of 54. Apart from that, his strike rate went over the roof, hitting them at a striking rate of over 242. He has also scored the second most number of sixes in the tournament behind fellow West Indian Nicholas Pooran.
Lewis has played in the IPL before and he did have a good tournament but could not play many seasons. However, with such a good striking ability, he can be an impact player for sure. A team looking for a solid opener can definitely go for him.
