4. Mitchell Starc (Australia) vs. Kieron Pollard (West Indies):

The incident took place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 in a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI). Starc bowled a ferocious bouncer at Pollard, who was beaten as he attempted a hook. After which, Starc sledged the batsman but Pollard with all his wits waved him off. But, as Starc ran in to bowl the next ball, Pollard pulled out of the delivery by backing away outside leg stump just when the bowler was approaching his delivery stride. Strac lost his cool and his ill temperedness led the incident into a loathsome fray.

Instead of aborting the delivery, Starc followed the batsman and delivered the ball in anger close to Pollard’s legs. The disgusted Pollard responded by swinging his bat hard which appeared to be a throw at the bowler but luckily somehow it slipped from his hands and fell on the leg side. Both, players exchanged a fierce battle of words afterwards as well.
