2. India v South Africa, Nagpur, World Cup 2011.
(267-1 to 296 all out)
In what promised to be a humdinger of contest, India and South Africa locked horns in a crucial group stage fixture in the World Cup. Winning the toss and batting first, India were off to a flier, as Tendulkar raced his way to a century along with Sehwag and Gambhir who lodged significant fifties.
At 267-1 in 40 overs, India seemed in a great shape to reach the 350 mark with wickets in their hand. What followed was perhaps one of the worst batting collapses. India tumbled to 296 all out, even failing to cross the 300 mark as Steyn bowled a ferocious spell and took a fifer. South Africa won the game with 3 balls to spare.
