3. Martin Guptill: 127 metres
Martin Guptill is one of the fiercest hitters of the ball in world cricket and it is no surprise that he features in this list. South Africa had toured New Zealand and the opener managed to hit a 127 metre long six in a T20 International off the bowling of Lonwabo Tsotsobe. It was a pitched up delivery from the bowler and Guptill took full toll of it as it was in his hitting zone. The batsman had hit the ball so hardly that it hit the roof of the stadium and came down. New Zealand were chasing 148 runs in that game and the right-hander found his groove at the right time.
