1. Andy Flower vs. Sri Lanka New Plymouth,1992 – 115* off 152 balls
Andy Flower made his first ODI a one to remember. He debuted against Sri Lanka in the 1992 Benson and Hedges World Cup in Australia.
Andy Flower opened the batting with Wayne James and went on to make an unbeaten 115 runs and taking Zimbabwe to 312 runs at the end of the innings.
But Sri Lanka became the first country to chase a 300+ run total in One Day Internationals history when they chased down 312 with help of Arjuna Ranatunga’s unbeaten 88 runs. Andy Flower was still adjudged the man of the match for his wonderful innings.
