James Anderson is the second highest wicket taker in 2014. The seamer bowled exceptionally well throughout the year and took 40 wickets overall at an average of 22.15. He also became second highest wicket taker for England in test cricket this year as he surpassed Bob Willis. The most memorable performance this year from Anderson was against India, where the Indian batsmen had no answers for his sharp swinging deliveries. He took 25 wickets and was adjudged the Man of the series for his series winning performance. Anderson can surely be termed one most complete fast bowler in the world at present.
