6. RR- Shane Warne, Shane Watson & Jos Buttler
Well, initially it was the legendary Aussie spinner Shane Warne who had invulnerably led RR in 2008. In their inaugural season, Warne and his men had smoothly cruised to clinch the maiden trophy. Despite hanging his international boots in 2007, Warne was also the best bowler till his last season. Till the 2011 IPL, the Aussie top dog had left a legendary mark in the RR squad.
Perhaps in his leadership, RR also found a top-notch all-rounder in the form of Shane Watson. In his 78 games, Watson smashed 2474 runs for the franchise at a commendable average of 35.85. However, despite parting ways, the Aussie all-rounder is still RR’s third-highest run-scorer.
But in recent times, Rajasthan is also now renowned to bag top-grade English players who seem befitting for modern-day T20. That’s why someone like Jos Buttler is now the premier batter of the pink army. From 2018 onwards, Buttler has been consistently amassing runs and has now become the fourth-highest scorer. So far in his 41 appearances, the gloveman has assembled 1441 runs at an average of 41.17.
