Unlike the IPL’s heavyweight teams, the Punjab franchise is much known for the constant chop and change. Since its inception, the franchise was helmed by the local boy Yuvraj Singh after which many players have got picked and snubbed. However, despite such uncertainty, some players like Shaun Marsh have turned out to be vital veterans.

Particularly, the 38-year old Aussie has played a total of 71 games for the franchise. In 2008, the southpaw not had bagged the first orange cap but also an invitation of an extended stay at KXIP. Overall by playing IPL till 2017, Marsh has given all for Punjab by scoring 2477 runs at an average of 39.95.

However, to accompany Marsh, even SA’s David Miller has been strongly associated with the Punjab team in the IPL. By being tagged as Killer-Miller, the southpaw is also the second most capped player on the team. Throughout his services till 2019, Miller made 84 appearances scoring 1974 runs at an average of 35.25.

But surprisingly in terms of steering the bowling chores, it’s been the 28-year old Sandeep Sharma who had a commendable record. From his mere 56 appearances, Sandeep has scalped 71wickets. In fact, in his brief stay, the pacer is also still Punjab’s second-highest wicket-taker. Overall, even their former captain KL Rahul whose been their biggest run-machine can also be considered as the biggest star in PBKS’s history.
