Trinbago Knight Riders called up Denesh Ramdin
Trinbago Knight Riders have called up wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin for the remainder of the CPL season. Ramdin will replace Javon Searles, who has been out of the squad due to an injury to his right shoulder.
Searles had played just one match this season and 14 games in his CPL career. He scored 43 runs at run-a-ball in his career since he hasn’t got many opportunities to bat. he had also conceded 35 runs in two overs as Chris Gayle struck a century in the only CPL match Searles has featured this season. The 29-year old travelled with the Knight Riders squad to Guyana for Sunday’s match but was ruled out due to injury.
Ramdin was originally set to replace Fidel Edwards in the St Lucia Zouks squad but he had picked up an injury in the final of the tri-series against Australia. Since his full recovery, he is eligible to be a replacement player.

He also featured in 148 20-over matches, and averages over 21 and has a decent strike-rate over 121.33.
