Dinesh Bana’s name will not be forgotten easily. The wicketkeeper batter struck the winning runs in the final of the ICC Under 19 World Cup for India against England and finished the match with a six.
And now, it has been revealed that Bana was not the first-choice keeper for the Indian side. In fact, during a Challenger Trophy match between India B and India F, Bana’s friend and teammate Nishant Sindhu told him that the selectors are coming to see him play.
And to that, Bana told Sindhu to just count the sixes that he hits. And, Bana plundered a breathtaking 170 off just 98 deliveries, and his innings consisted of 14 sixes and 10 fours.
