Over the years, Kohli has developed himself as one of the greatest of the modern-day world. He currently leads the Indian team across all three formats. The batsman has topped the chart of ICC ODI and Test batsman rankings innumerable times, and it speaks a lot about his stature. Popularly known as a run machine, he has pulled the team out of crunch situations many times and continues to be a great skipper.
Kohli is currently in UAE, leading his IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore. Brushing off their past reputation, the Virat Kohli-led RCB have played great cricket in IPL 2020 and has sealed a playoffs berth. They are in the fourth position in points tally and will play eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Even before the start of IPL, great players from RCB like AB de Villers, Yuzvendra Chahal, talked of the fresh feel in their squad. They spoke that their team looks in the best picture for the first time after they played the 2016 finale.
They replicated their statements on-field and came up with some strong performances. It will be a thing to watch whether they can bag their maiden IPL trophy this year or not.
