The 32nd match of the IPL 2021 saw PBKS and RR fighting for glory but some unexpected twists towards the end made RR have the last laugh. Sanju Samson and his men displayed great batting efforts to put huge 185 runs on the board and it looked like PBKS will get the game easily owing to their flying start by KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal.

However, what young pacer Kartik Tyagi did towards the end was no less than a miracle. He was tasked with bowling the ultimate over of the game where he had to defend just four runs. However, he didn’t leave any stone unturned to fetch good for RR and due to his surreal spell, RR won the game by two runs.

Tyagi was also declared as the player of the match and earned praises from all over the world. However, there is another twist to the story. It was not long back when the world was effusive in praise of India’s first Olympic Gold Medalist in track and field events Neeraj Chopra. As soon as Tyagi bagged all the limelight, fans started drawing comparisons between him and Neeraj Chopra.

As per fans, they stated that it looked like Chopra was playing IPL 2021 with RR. It was due to the epic resemblance between the two that this confusion rather fun session started on Twitter.

Here is how fans compared Neeraj Chopra with Kartik Tyagi

“I was injured during the India leg of the IPL and by the time I got fit, the tournament was suspended. Felt sad. So, this feels really good. I have been talking to people over the years and they keep telling me that things keep changing in this format, so I need to keep believing.

“I’ve always heard from everyone and also watched games in this format where strange things have happened. Today, I was fortunate to play a big role in something special. I was bowling a bit too short earlier, later worked on it consciously after getting a lot of feedback,” said Chopra after winning player of the match award.
