“Have you over for dinner you Babysit? I’ll take the wife to the movies one night and you’ll look after the kids?” These were Tim Paine’s kind words for Rishabh Pant during the first innings of the Melbourne Test. But little did he thought it create such a reaction across the two countries over the next few days. The topic is still fresh in the fans’ minds and the latest incident regarding the same has left everyone in splits.
The Indian and Australian players were invited at Australia’s Prime Minister’s on the New Year’s Day ahead of the fourth and final Test match between the two teams. All the on-field differences were kept aside on the occasion as everyone enjoyed their time with each other.
At the same time, Rishabh Pant stumbled upon Tim Paine’s wife Bonnie Maggs (Paine) and their kids. He spent some valuable time with the kids even as Bonnie clicked a picture with the cricketer who was taking care of the babies.
Instagram story goes viral
Bonnie Paine hilariously updated her Instagram story with the same picture and it didn’t take much to go viral. She also funnily called Rishabh Pant as ‘babysitter’ just to find the lighter side of all the banter which was going on during the Boxing Day Test and everyone has just loved it.
This gesture was loved by the ICC and the former England cricketer Michael Vaughan which highlighted that the teams are not taking the banters on the field personal by any means. It also proved that there is no needle between the two players or in between the sides amidst all the comments in the media and they also seem to be enjoying the all the fuss which is being made out of all the stump mic chatter.
Meanwhile, Twitterati was also delighted to see Pant babysitting Paine’s kids and saw the lighter side of everything which has been doing the rounds over the last few days.

This is brilliant. The banter in this series has been fun and lighthearted and absent the recent bitter sledging that has been a blight on the sport. Long may it continue 🏏 #AUDvIND https://t.co/myScUoBmcR

Rishabh Pant has a safe pair of hands 😊😊😊
Tim Paine had sledged Pant asking him at the MCG if he could babysit.
Tim’s wife Bonnie has given her verdict on Pant. She posted a story on Instagram and says Pant is the “best babysitter.”#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/C6obqvTDsm

Rishabh Pant Babysitting Tim Paine's Babies 😛
This is how it should be. Play hard. Banter on field should stay on field only, Not off it. Another reason to admire this Indian Team & Players ❤️ #AUSvsIND #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/I25Osnio3Z
