The Indian pair of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane had a lead of 285 runs while walking into bat on the last day. Rohit was batting on 41 while Rahane had got to his half-century and had 51 runs in his account. On the very second ball of the 5th day from Miguel Cummins umpire Nigel Llong thought little before raising his figure to give Rohit out leg-before-wicket but replays clearly showed that he had inside-edged it and thus wasn’t eligible to be given out.
Things carried on from there since there is no DRS used in the series Rohit walked back after the decision. Team India sent in wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha the centurion from the first inning to bat ahead of allrounders Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. Both Rahane and Saha looked to score some quick runs as the team was looking to declare soon with the lead already over 300 runs.
On the 3rd ball of the 44th over of India’s inning, umpire Llong once again gave the decision in favor of the bowler as Saha edged one from Cummins to the keeper. The batsman stood around while there were replays played and it suggested that the bowler had overstepped by a huge margin. It wasn’t marginal but really significant for the umpire to not detect it.
The third umpire surprisingly decided against suggesting his on-field partner that it was a no ball and thus Saha couldn’t be given out. They stayed on with the call and he was given out caught behind for 14 off 14 balls. Team India soon declared with a lead of 345 runs after batting for 9 overs on the last day. And will now have a crack at the West Indies batsmen to see if they can win the Test.

It was the second incorrect decision of the morning and it didn’t go down well with the Twitterati watching the game. Here is how they reacted:
This morning's play has been poor advertisement for Test #cricket. Poor shots, shoddy fielding & shockers by Umpires. #Disappointed #WIvIND

Umpiring standards have been unusually ordinary this #WIvIND Test match. Rohit lbw inside edge. Saha caught behind off HUGE no-ball.

Despite all the technology we still see such farcical dismissals. Why is a tv umpire there – just to gulp beer & eat chicken?#WIvIND

Huge no ball. But Llong gives Saha out and doesn't check upstairs. Batsman has to go. 2 wrong decisions. Mental this is. #WIvInd #IndvsWI

Very low level of umpiring in #WIvIND test match from umpires. So many wrong decisions in this match.
