Twitter Reactions: Australia ride on twin centuries by Warner and Head

In what was yet another action packed day at the Adelaide Oval, the hosts went on to win the series 4-1. This game was basically a dead rubber as Australia had already sealed the series last game and Pakistan had pride to play for. However, they continued to repeat their failures.
Earlier in the day, it was captain Steve Smith who won the toss as Australia elected to bat first. David Warner provided a kickstart to the Australian innings as they managed to hang in and score runs at a quick pace. While Head rotated the strike, Warner was at his splendid best, scoring boundaries at will.
Both together put on a magnificent 284 runs partnership for the first wicket. David Warner went on to score his 13th century as he played a scintillating knock of 179 runs from just 128 balls. On the other hand, Travis Head also scored a stupendous hundred with a fine 128 (137).
However, the rest of the Australian batting order collapsed. Though 400 seemed a probable total at one stage, Australia managed to score 369 at the loss of 7 wickets. Pakistan’s fielding was again wayward as dropped catches and misfields contributed greatly towards the Australian total.

This was the highest total at the Adelaide Oval. Junaid got a couple of wickets. Amir got one wicket but was expensive. Hasan Ali who took a fifer in the last game scored a century but with the ball unfortunately for Pakistan.
While Azhar Ali continued his dismal form, Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam batted really well at the middle. Sharjeel who scored his third consecutive half century played a brilliant knock of 79. Babar Azam went on to complete his fourth ODI century.
However, once both got out, wickets started falling at regular intervals. Also with the asking rate way too ahead, batsmen failed to capitalize and lost their wickets going for big boundaries. In the end, Pakistan were all out for 312 runs in the last over.
In what was a run fest, Mitchell Starc shined with a four-wicket haul. Pat Cummins also got a couple of wickets. Australia went on to win the game by 57 runs as David Warner was deservingly rewarded the man of the match.
Here are some of the amazing Twitter reactions that took place during the match:
Five sixes and a four in this over and Pakistan are right back in this.

Did Hassan Ali celebrate his century the same way he did his five wickets in the last match?

Brutal from Warner. No better way to mark a key date in British colonialist history than by subjecting an Asian nation to misery. #AUSvPAK

When you wake up late for an Indian match.
'Is Dhawan already out?'
For an Australian game.
'Has Warner already scored a century?' #AUSvPAK— Sameer Allana (@HitmanCricket) January 26, 2017
