Twitter Reactions: Brad Haddin retires from international cricket: After his retirement from the ODI cricket on 17th May 2015 following the World Cup win Brad Haddin bids adieu to his international cricket career. Joining the club with the Australian ex-captain Michael Clarke, Haddin announces his retirement from the international cricket today.

The patient wicket keeper batsman waited long enough to make his Test debut and got a chance at the age of 30, only after Adam Gilchrist retired. He played for his team and has been a brave warrior of the Australian side.

After a long tenure of 14 years Haddin has finally decided to hang his boots. His contribution in the Ashes 2013-14 which resulted in Australia’s 5-0 whitewash against England was one of the most important mark of his cricketing career. Haddin has played 66 Test matches and stands fourth in the list of Australian wicket keeper’s with most number of runs and catches, after Gilchrist, Ian Healy and Rod Marsh.

His ODI career of 126 matches he scored 3122 runs at an average of 31.53. Haddin made 2 centuries and 16 half centuries in his ODI career. He was also the most prolific wicket keeper batsman of the New South Wales. Haddin will continue playing T20 for Sydney Sixers in the BBL.
