Team Australia completed an easy victory against West Indies during the second T20I match played on October 7 (Friday). Explosive opener David Warner played a blistering knock of 75 runs and was adjudged the Player of the Match for his excellent batting performance.

Apart from Warner, team Australia's newest inclusion Tim David was simply amazing with the bat as he smashed 42 runs in just 20 balls and stroked four fours and three huge maximums. The right-handed batter also had a decent outing during the T20I series against India and he is quickly becoming a vital player for the current T20 champions.

David smoked three big sixes during his innings

David came to the crease when Australia was in some trouble as the home team lost four crucial wickets after scoring 100 runs in 12.3 overs. However, some lusty blows from David meant that the Men in Yellow posted an above-par score for the West Indies side.

Before playing for Australia, David showed his hitting capabilities in several franchise-based leagues around the world. David had also shown his batting antics during the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he played some vital knocks for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI).

Meanwhile, David will be focusing on the upcoming T20I series to be played against England. The first match of the series will be played at the Perth Stadium on October 9 (Sunday). The next two matches will be played in Canberra.

David will be looking to continue his good form with the bat and move ahead for the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup. Talking about David's numbers in T20I cricket, he has stroked 674 runs at an average of almost 40. David plays at an excellent strike rate of 160.47.
