Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) continued their winning run in the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) as they beat Delhi Capitals by (DC) by 67 runs on Saturday, April 20 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. After being put in to bat first, SRH once again flexed their batting muscles and posted a humongous score of 266/7 in their allotted 20 overs with Travis Head top scoring with 89 (32). Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the bowlers for DC with figures of 4/55 in four overs.
In reply, DC could only reach 199 in their allotted 20 overs with Jake Fraser McGurk top-scoring with his blistering half-century.

1. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma shatter records in powerplay
The opening pair of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma got their team off to a sensational start adding 131 runs for the first wicket off just 38 balls. The duo registered the highest powerplay score in the history of IPL scoring 125 runs in the first six overs. Abhishek scored a quick-fire 46 off 12 balls smashing two fours and six sixes while Travis Head scored 89 off 32 balls smashing 11 fours and six sixes.
2. Jake Fraser McGurk scores fastest fifty for DC in IPL history
The 22-year-old kept his side in the game with his quick-fire half-century as he walked into bat in the first over itself with DC on 16/1 after five balls. McGurk wasted no time in settling down and scored the fastest half-century for DC in just 15 balls. He went on to score a splendid 65 off just 18 balls with the help of five fours and seven sixes.

3. T Natarajan stars with the ball in the high-scoring contest
The left-arm seamer was the pick of the bowlers for his team as he registered figures of 4/19 in four overs. After giving away just 19 runs in the first three overs and picking one wicket. Natarajan dismissed Axar Patel (6 off 8), Anrich Nortje (0 off 2) and Kuldeep Yadav to complete his four-fer.
