After opting to bat first, Punjab were bundled out for just 142 in their allotted 20 overs with Prabhsimran Singh top-scoring with 35 (21).

Let’s take a look at the highlights from the match:

1. Sai Kishore spins a web around Punjab batters

The left-arm seamer was brought into the attack in the 11th over and was welcomed with a six by Jitesh Sharma. However, the 27-year-old made a brilliant comeback three balls later by shattering Sharma’s stumps. He further got rid of Ashutosh Sharma in his second over getting home holed out to deep extra cover. Kishore further got the big scalp of Shashank Singh in his third over and caught him off his own bowling and also Harpreet Brar to finish with figures of 4/33 in four overs.

2. Harpreet Brar helps Punjab reach a respectable total

The 28-year-old walked in to bat with his side reeling at 99/7 after 15.2 overs. Unfazed by the precarious situation, Brar played a quick-fire cameo of 29 (12) with the help of four fours and a six to help Punjab finish on 142 in their allotted 20 overs.
