Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by six wickets in Match 19 in Jaipur.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) continued their winning run in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) with a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Saturday, April 06 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. After being put in to bat first, RCB scored a good score of 183/3 in their allotted 20 overs courtesy of a sensational hundred from Virat Kohli (113* off 72).
In reply, Rajasthan chased down the target in 19.1 overs with a splendid century from Jos Buttler and a half-century from captain Sanju Samson. Courtesy of their win, RR climbed to the top of the points table with eight points from four matches while RCB slipped to the seventh spot with two points from five games.

1. Virat Kohli scores first hundred of the season
The star batter continued his brilliant form in the ongoing season and once again looked in fine nick at the crease. The RCB opener completed his half-century off 39 balls and got involved in a massive 125-run stand with Faf du Plessis off 84 balls. Kohli completed his hundred in the second last over of the innings off 67 balls and finished his innings on 113* (72) with the help of 12 fours and four sixes.
2. Sanju Samson plays a captain’s knock at number three
The Rajasthan Royals skipper had to walk to the crease with his team reeling at 0/1 as Yashasvi Jaiswal (0 off 2) got dismissed for a duck. However, he calmed the nerves in the dressing room with his sublime knock of 69 (42) smashing eight fours and two sixes. Samson got involved in a massive 148-run stand with Jos Buttler off just 86 balls which brought Rajasthan on the verge of a win.

3. Jos Buttler scores sixth IPL hundred
The RR opener finally found his form after registering scores of 11, 11 and 13 in the first three matches of the tournament. After losing his opening partner early, Buttler held one end and brought Rajasthan into the ascendancy with a massive stand with his captain. With just one required off the last over to win, the English cricketer smacked Cameron Green over deep mid-wicket boundary and completed his hundred. He finished the innings with an unbeaten 100* off 58 balls with the help of nine fours and four sixes.
